Phi Phenomenon

The phi phenomenon is the optical illusion of perceiving a series of still images, when viewed in rapid succession, as continuous motion. Max Wertheimer defined this phenomenonin 1912.
The Phi phenomenon is an illusion that tricks one into thinking there is an object in motion but in reality there are just still pictures that flash or blink  in different places.
